Finding Your Niche(s)
We’re going to start this chapter by talking about what makes you special and what your niche(s) should be

Ok, Now Operations
Now that we’ve got a sense of what makes us special and who we want to coach, let us dig into operations. What is it and what kind of operational structures are possible?

It's Getting Real
Finding a name and registering your business can make it all feel so real. Be ready for some big feelings and limiting beliefs to pop up at this stage

Marketing
-
Branding
We dive right into the Marketing section by discussing branding, the face of the business. The important step can be a bit scary, so we go over every step in lots of detail.
-
Websites & SEO
One of the most important parts of Marketing is your website. Once you have your branding completed, the next logical step is to put it into action on your website and enjoy how beautiful it all looks together. We’ll go over choosing a website builder, best practices, and what the heck is SEO and why is it so important.
-
Social Media
Even though this is one of the biggest sections in marketing, it is not the most important. People confuses social media for marketing all the time but it is just one part of your fuller marketing plan. So definitely put some energy into this area but not all your energy.
We’ll also talk a little bit about having a functional sales funnel, so that you can tackle that on your own before having to hire professionals.
-
Market Research
Finally going to talk about market research, after mentioning it several times already. In order to have an effective marketing strategy, we’ll need to know what people need, want, and like.
-
Advertising
The last section of advertising is another massive section, so pace yourself. There are lots of ways to advertise for free but eventually we will all want to get into paid advertising, once we’re ready.
-
-
Finances
-
Banking & Incorporating
Jumping into the Finances section, we’ll dig right in by talking about the importance of having a business bank account and when is the right time to incorporate for you.
-
Payments!
How we get paid is super important and yet something people don’t want to sort out until they’ve got revenue coming in, which is backwards thinking. Getting this part of your business sorted now is important and you’ll be glad you did.
-
Start Up Costs & Capital
A very tough topic, as many people want to start their business with as little expenses as possible but there will always be costs. It is important that we invest in our business in order for it to launch, even though it can feel scary and worrying that we may lose that money. Effort plus investment is a solid strategy!
-
Wrapping Up Financials
This is the last lesson in this workshop series and by now you’ve learned about everything you will need to eventually put together a business plan, which will eventually be necessary if you decide to pursue grants or loans.

The 3 Core Pillars of Your Business
-
Everything you do to run your business outside of the appointments with clients. Choosing your niche and name, registering your business, starting a bank account, and many more topics. This is crucial yet often overlooked part of starting your business.
-
This is the largest section of the workshop but not the most important aspect of launching your business. We’ll cover everything you need to create a solid marketing plan and online presence.
-
The smallest section of this workshop but still requires attention to detail. Starting a small business can be costly but it is one of the best investments you’ll ever make. This is your future career, so let’s make sure it runs well.

Course FAQ
-
You will have all the practical knowledge you need but being ready is entirely different. This workshop will ask you to check in on your limiting beliefs around success and being a entrepreneur. You will have to work through those in order to be really ready.
-
Maybe… but going viral isn’t the same thing as having a successful business. Unless you’re prepared to go viral by having all your operations and finances in order, that kind of surge in potential clients will not last. Preparing a stable foundation for your business is better than going viral at the beginning.

Yes, I have mentored one coach and their business has exploded in under 6 months. I am incredibly proud of them and their success so far! I only take on coaches whose business inspires me and will only mentor one coach at a time. Regular coaching rates apply to mentor sessions.
