Good Girls Anger Club

If you grew up being the “good girl”—polite, accommodating, responsible, agreeable—you were probably never allowed to feel anger, let alone express it. You learned to keep the peace, hold your tongue, and stay small so others could stay comfortable.

Good Girls Anger Club is a 4-week in-person, experiential workshop designed to help you unlearn that conditioning and finally build a healthy, empowered relationship with anger.

This is not about becoming explosive.

It’s about understanding anger as clarity, protection, boundary, truth—and reclaiming it as an emotional right.

Across four weeks, you’ll explore the history and socialization of female anger, learn somatic tools for processing big emotions, and participate in an active-release field trip to practise expressing anger in a safe, embodied way.

Week 1: The History of “Good Girls” and the Socialization of Anger
Why women were taught to be pleasant instead of powerful. Explore the emotional consequences of suppression and the cost of self-abandonment.

Week 2: Move Through Shame and Bring Anger Up and Out
Learn how to move through the shame association with anger and connect into the emotions that come after, like hurt, shame, and grief. Communication tools are part of this lesson to help you start to find the right words to become more empowered.

Week 3: Somatic Anger Literacy
Learn body-based tools to feel anger safely rather than numb, perform, or implode. Begin to identify your anger cues and what they’re trying to tell you.

Week 4: Active Release + Integration
A guided, experiential group field trip (boxing, axe-throwing, or movement-based expression) to practice safe emotional release. Integrate what anger feels like when it’s healthy and self-honouring.

Do I need to be angry to join?

No. This is for anyone who struggles to feel or express anger at all.

Is the field trip required?

Nope. While we encourage participation, there’s zero pressure to speak if you’re not comfortable. You’re welcome to show up exactly as you are.

I feel guilty when I get angry. Will this help?

Yes. We’ll explore guilt, social conditioning, and how to differentiate harmful anger from healthy anger.

What if sharing feels intimidating?

You never have to share. Participation is invitational, not pressured.
